About Us
A Note from our Founder
Welcome to Nine Stellar Winds Yoga & Fitness. My intention is to bring my compassion, dedication, and curiosity to instruction for all of our clients. Life can be a long road - but I remind everyone that “We Are More Than This Body” and while we are here - we should have so much fun and enjoyment in our daily activities. It would be a privilege for us to become Your Yoga Therapist & Fitness instructor. It would be a privilege to be there to see you grow, age, and be together as a healthy community. I have designed programs that are accessible to all - regardless of ability, age, constitution, race, nationality, gender identification or income level. All are welcome, all are honored and no one will be turned away. Just like the stellar winds in the heavens, we are diverse, adaptive and ever evolving.
In Light & Love,
-Victoria Tricamo
Our Story
Victoria Tricamo founded Nine Stellar Winds Yoga & Fitness with three core values in mind: Safety, Efficacy, and Accessibility for all those we serve.
Victoria brings over 10 years of experience as an Accessible Yoga Therapist, NESTA Certified Fitness Trainer, and Qi Gong practitioner. She worked directly with chiropractic patients for a decade as a Yoga Therapist at Back For Yoga in El Segundo, gaining valuable clinical experience. She also served as Program Manager for Therapeutic Yoga and Yoga for Multiple Sclerosis at the Iyengar Institute of Los Angeles, where she developed extensive knowledge of effective sequencing for individuals with complex health needs.
Victoria first came to yoga after suffering major injuries from a head-on collision on Pacific Coast Highway. In the beginning, yoga did not feel accessible due to the chronic conditions she was experiencing. After committing to aquatic therapy and receiving Chinese herbal prescriptions, she began her healing journey.
A major turning point in her recovery was discovering Iyengar Yoga, widely known for its prop-based approach that makes the practice accessible to everyone. Victoria draws deep inspiration from the late B.K.S. Iyengar, who established a yoga clinic in Pune, India, to treat complex medical cases — including orphans and children with ailments who had been cast aside by society. He was also one of the first yoga teachers to actively include women in the practice. His daughter, Geeta Iyengar, authored some of the most valuable literature on yoga for women.
Victoria is honored to carry this lineage. She also openly shares that for several years, she was unable to complete an entire yoga class due to her injuries. That experience profoundly shaped her teaching. During that time of limited mobility, she developed deep compassion, patience, and understanding for her students’ journeys.
Her greatest strength is her empathy and attentiveness. Her “superpower” is her intuition — the ability to understand what limitations feel like and to perceive what her students need to maintain and improve their wellness. Today, Victoria is grateful to have fully healed from her injuries after years of dedicated Iyengar Yoga training, fitness conditioning, Qi Gong, and Chinese Medicine.
When she is not teaching, Victoria is caring for her young son or working toward her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine, with a focus on Holistic Pediatric Care. As an “Accessible Mom” to her neurodivergent son, she shares a deep love and understanding for the neurodivergent community.
While physical movement plays a vital role in maintaining health, Victoria gently reminds us that “we are more than this body.” For her, the practice of yoga and wellness extends far beyond the physical — it is a holistic journey of body, mind, and spirit.

Safety is at the helm of all the services that we provide.
Our team is trained in risk management and abuse prevention, following rigorous industry standards. We prioritize injury prevention by training at appropriate intensities, allowing clients to build strength, coordination, and sustainable movement patterns. Our programs combine interval fitness principles to support cardiovascular and metabolic health with thoughtfully designed yoga sequences to promote overall wellness. Every client begins with a comprehensive assessment to establish baseline metrics and create a personalized plan that supports both current needs and long-term goals.

Efficacy is at the center of our program design.
We tailor our services to meet each client’s current needs while planning for future growth. Every client begins with a comprehensive evaluation assessing posture, movement, balance, coordination, and any chronic concerns. This process establishes clear baseline metrics and allows us to track progress over time.

Accessibility is a must have for our clients.
As Yoga Therapists and Accessible Yoga Ambassadors, we are trained to provide thoughtful modifications and understand a wide range of pathologies and neurological conditions. We adapt programming for clients with conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, pulmonary concerns, aphasia, mobility limitations, and more—always planning ahead to ensure safety and inclusion. We also provide yoga props and adaptive training equipment to prevent injury and support each client’s growth.
